“Unfortunately, some predatory moving companies takeadvantage of stressed customers by adding additional fees once they have possession of acustomer’s property.”
Following years of complaints and lawsuits filed, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovichaided Representative Weninger in the drafting of HB 2145. “The passage of this bill is a big achievement for consumer protection in Arizona, and Ithank my colleagues in the Arizona Legislature for offering overwhelming bipartisansupport for this commonsense legislation. This bill creates a much-needed relationship oftrust between the customers and the moving companies,”
