Jeff Flake refers to illegal aliens as “Americans by choice”

In a blunderous description reminiscent of failed presidential candidate Jeb Bush, who said illegals aliens come to America as an “act of love” — Jeff Flake now calls these same foreign invaders who disregard our sovereign border, “Americans by choice.” Jeb favored a “pathway to citizenship” to allow those here in violation of the law to “come out of the shadows.” At the time, Jeff Flake praised the absurd contention that breaking our laws was “an act of love.”

“Truth is, I agree with Jeb, and I applaud him for having the guts to say it,” Flake posted on Facebook as reported by Huffington Post in 2014. “Growing up here in Arizona, I’ve seen what motivates those who come here illegally. Sure, some come with the intent to do harm or simply to take advantage of our generosity. But many come to find work to feed their families. To lump everyone who crosses the border illegally into the same class is unfair and unproductive.”

Now, in a sappy op-ed in the New York Times, Jeff Flake takes another potshot at President Donald Trump’s immigration polices as he recounts his family’s ranch and his father’s hiring practices of employing illegals. The fact that some were repeatedly deported and  returned didn’t bother the senior Flake, who rehired them.  His bottom line took precedence.

The New York Times is the same left-wing newspaper former Arizona Congressman John Shadegg, a McCain protégé, ran to as he hurled insults at Arizonans who simply want our nation’s laws respected. Shadegg went across the country to the liberal eastern press to call us “xenophobic and intolerant,“ invectives he never used to our faces, especially as he solicited our donations and votes.

Roy Beck, founder and president of NumbersUSA provides an in-depth report on amnesty-supporter Sen. Jeff Flake, titled,Sen. Flake extols his family’s illegal-alien hiring in attack on RAISE Act.

This evening President Donald Trump will address a rally of supporters at the Phoenix Convention Center. No rational conservative would either expect or desire Jeff Flake, a persistent detractor of the president to show up. Ditto McCain, who has relentlessly opposed President Trump and his policies.  Both men, who colluded with Democrat leaders on the “Gang of 8” amnesty scheme, were booed (video) by elected Republican state committeemen at a GOP statutory when they were slipped in the back door and led onstage by former AZ GOP chairman Robert Graham.

McCain had previously been censured by the same delegates.  He retaliated by plotting with San Francisco-based Obama donors and others of their ilk to purge conservative elected precinct committeemen from their posts. These internecine purges been McCain’s ongoing commitment, even taking place in precincts this past election cycle.

Will Arizona’s Republican U.S. House members show up to honor our Republican Commander in Chief? Their presence  — or absence — will speak volumes as the 2018 elections roll around. Those who ran and were elected as Republicans are Martha McSally, CD 2; Paul Gosar, CD 4; Andy Biggs, CD 5; David Schweikert, CD 6; and Trent Franks, CD 8.
