McCain’s shamelessness rears its ugly head….again

John McCain steps up criticism of Pres. Trump in Australia

What’s more pathetic than a bumbling, failed presidential candidate going abroad to denigrate and undermine the current U.S. President — four months into his presidency?

Not much.

It appears nothing keeps the perpetually aggrieved John McCain from behaving reprehensibly. Undercutting President Trump has become McCain’s calling card.

Appearing on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s program “7:30” Monday, he stated that President Donald Trump sometimes made him “nervous.”

McCain, who characterizes himself as a “maverick” in an attempt to give cover to his leftward lurches has certainly made Arizona Republicans “nervous” during his decades in Washington — usually colluding with Democrats and against the party whose brand he runs under.

“I am nervous from time to time,” he said. “I do believe that the President has great confidence in the national security team. I do believe most of the time that he accepts their advice and counsel. “Can I tell you that he does [that] all the time? No. Does it bother me? Yes, it bothers me.”

McCain describes Russian President Vladimir Putin as a bigger threat to world security than ISIS —  an Islamic extremist group that specializes in beheadings and burning caged people alive. McCain specifically claims Putin attempted to change the outcome of our 2016 presidential election.

That’s the election where both Arizona Sens. McCain and Flake stridently asserted they would not vote for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, as they supported Democrat Hillary Clinton. Do their words and deeds qualify as actively attempting to alter the election? How much influence did they have on their supporters? Why the silence from the RNC and AZ GOP when these two turncoats made such outrageous public statements?

Yet the duplicitous duo of McCain and Flake was uncharacteristically mum when Barack Obama and his operatives actively engaged in election manipulation, spending hundreds of thousands of U.S. tax dollars leading up to Israel’s March 2015 election in an overt effort to unseat conservative Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu won despite Obama’s meddling, even engaging with a team in Israel to influence the election.
